What is the turnaround of the translation project?
The standard turnaround is 3 working days once the payment has cleared. There is a possibility of an express translation at a higher rate. Turnaround of larger volume projects is agreed with the clients individually.
How do I deliver a document to translate?
You can send the document by email or by post.
How will I get the translation?
Certified translations are delivered by post, 1st class service or, on the request of the client, by special delivery. There are no delivery costs for the documents send by 1st class service. Non certified translations are delivered by email. You can also request a scan of a certified translation delivered by email.
How do I pay?
You will pay by bank transfer. The account no. will be provided with an invoice. We begin working on your translation once the payment has cleared.
How much do you charge?
There is a set rate per translating standard documents e.g. certificates. Other projects are assessed individually, with rates starting as low as £0.06 per word. Express or specialised translations are charged at a higher rate. We also offer discounts for larger projects.
Does the price depend on the source and target language?
No. The price is the same, it does not matter if the translation is from Polish to English or English to Polish.
Can I request additional copies of a certified translation?
Yes. Additional copies of a certified translations are available at 30% surcharge.
Will your translations be accepted by Polish official organisations?
Yes. I am a sworn translator in Poland registered with the Polish Ministry of Justice and my translations will be accepted by Polish offices.
Will your translations be accepted by British official organisations?
Most of the British organisations will accept my translations. Also, I cooperate with a certified translator in the UK, whose translations are accepted by organisations like SIA (Security Industry Authority).
When do you start working on the translation?
We start working on the translation once the payment has cleared.
